Partygoers in New York and Las Vegas are already familiar with the buzzed-about nightclub 1 OAK—short for one-of-a-kind. And as of tonight (January 23), LA’s nightlife set will get a chance to experience the ultra-exclusive lounge firsthand when 1 OAK opens in the former Key Club space on the Sunset Strip. Brought to you by Butter Group partners Richie Akiva, Scott Sartiano, Darren Dzienciol, and Ronnie Madra, 1 OAK Los Angeles is poised to bring together art, fashion, music, and surprises every night.
Every 1 OAK Los Angeles reveler will feel like a VIP inside the three-level space thanks to the luxe Studio Iyor-designed vibe—think: Da Vinci Code-themed walls, black-and-white chevron-patterned flooring, and Brazilian wood counters. Meanwhile, artwork by Roy Nachum, large-scale oil paintings, gorilla sculptures, and bright text and light installations bring a cool cultural touch to the venue.
To keep clubgoers dancing, the music comes alive through an interactive DJ booth synched to show video art. That pulsating party vibe is intensified with over 1,000 lights lining the ceiling and the center wall to really ensure that the party continues well into the night. 9039 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood
